This Privacy Policy explains how INT TECH Yazılım ve Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti. (trading as "INT-TECH Software & Consulting Ltd.", "INT-TECH", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data in connection with the UMAY mobile application (the "App").
The App is the mobile companion to the UMAY risk-intelligence platform (the "Platform"). It is intended for use by authorised users of organisations that hold a valid UMAY licence ("Licensee organisations"). Access requires login credentials issued in connection with a licence.
We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this Policy under the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), and other applicable laws.
By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

If you are an employee of a Licensee organisation, your organisation may also have its own privacy notice describing how it uses the App and any data it accesses through it.
UMAY is an AI-assisted risk-intelligence tool. It aggregates and analyses information from public and licensed sources (such as news feeds, public-event data, weather, traffic and other open-source signals) and presents risk indicators, scores, alerts, forecasts and contextual summaries relating to facilities, areas or — where you enable it — your current location.
Important safety note: UMAY provides informational risk indicators and forecasts generated in part by automated/AI systems. It is not an emergency service and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for safety-critical decisions. In an emergency, always contact local emergency services. We collect only what is needed to provide a secure, functional professional tool.

Where we rely on consent (precise location, push notifications), you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing of your personal data.
We share personal data only as described below, and we require recipients to protect it to a standard at least equal to this Policy.

These providers act on our instructions under written agreements (Data Processing Agreements) and may not use your data for their own purposes.
Because the App is a licensed professional tool, a Licensee organisation (e.g. your employer) may have access to certain account and usage information relating to users it has authorised — for example, who has access, and audit/activity logs — as part of administering its licence and meeting its own security and compliance obligations.
We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of INT-TECH, our users, or others.
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify you of any such change.
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for their own direct marketing.
We are established in Türkiye and may process data on servers located in Türkiye, the EU/EEA, or other countries. Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA/UK or outside Türkiye, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) (and, where relevant, the UK Addendum) and the transfer conditions permitted under KVKK Article 9. We keep personal data only as long as necessary:
When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or irreversibly anonymise it.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, hashed password storage, network protections, and regular review of our security practices. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data. Where a breach is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the competent authority and, where required, affected users, in accordance with applicable law.

Under KVKK Article 11, data subjects in Türkiye additionally have rights to learn whether their data is processed, request information about processing, learn the purpose, know third parties to whom data is transferred, and request correction, deletion or destruction.
Note: because access is tied to a Licensee organisation's licence, some requests (e.g. relating to your account or audit logs) may need to be coordinated with your organisation. We will work with you and, where appropriate, your organisation to honour valid requests.
Email contact@int-tech.solutions with the subject "Privacy Request". Where the App allows you to delete your account in-app (Profile → Account), you may also use that option. We may need to verify your identity. We respond within the timeframe required by law (generally 30 days), free of charge except where requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
The App is a professional tool not directed to children and is intended only for authorised adult users of Licensee organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App or through your organisation. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
