HERMES · Hardware · LoRa Mesh
HERMES is INT-TECH's LoRa-based mesh communication module. In earthquakes, blackouts, and overloaded networks, the moments crisis communication matters most, HERMES nodes form their own long-range network and keep your teams connected, with zero dependence on existing infrastructure.
A rugged, IP67-rated node built for the field: long-range LoRa radio, an ESP32-S3 controller, an onboard OLED display, and rechargeable Li-Po power, engineered to keep working when everything else stops.

Capabilities
No SIM card, no cell tower, no internet. HERMES nodes form their own long-range radio network the moment they power on.
Every device is also a relay. Messages hop node-to-node until they reach their destination. If one node drops, the mesh reroutes automatically.
LoRa's long-range, low-power radio reaches kilometers in open terrain and penetrates dense urban environments where conventional radios struggle.
Low-power design keeps nodes alive for days on a single charge, built for extended operations, not just the first hour of a crisis.
Nodes periodically broadcast position, letting coordinators track field teams on a map even with all conventional networks down.
HERMES traffic can feed directly into AEGIS, so field reports from disconnected zones appear in your common operational picture in real time.
How It Works
Conventional radio is point-to-point: out of range means out of contact. In a mesh, each HERMES node relays traffic for its neighbors. Ten devices aren't ten endpoints. They're a network that covers a district, routes around obstacles, and grows stronger with every node you add.

When It Matters
Cellular networks routinely collapse or saturate in the first hours, exactly when coordination matters most.
Keep security and operations teams connected through blackouts and infrastructure failures.
Overloaded networks around large gatherings stop being a single point of failure for your security operation.
Coverage gaps at perimeters, mines, ports, and rural sites, bridged without expensive infrastructure.
